James acquired his doctoral and master degree of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine at the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM) in Texas. He has been studying/practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 11 years. He specializes at nervous, digestive, immune systems disorder (which include tingling/numbness, tremors, Bell’s palsy, shingles, stroke sequela, GI track discomfort, psoriasis, lupus, and skin issues) and benefits to circulatory & emotion related issues (such as hypertension regulating, palpitation, edema, swelling, varicose vein, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic fatigue) .
James is drawn to holistic medicine because of its effectiveness in treating the whole person with a non-invasive approach. He also finds great value in treating the root cause of illness, and not merely the symptoms. Such depth of treatment prevents recurrence of disease and discourages new illness from occurring.
In addition, James has a nurturing and accepting approach, always truly meeting people where they are at. He enjoys to learning about the diverse experiences with everyone he meets to share with them the joy of living and healing naturally. He spends his spare time with his family as well as the trail hitting, his instruments playing, gardening, and keeping his shiny, hyperactive Aussie Shepherd, Jordy busy.
