ROBERT CHELLEW, LMT
Massage has been an important part of Robert’s life since his first exposure to it 35 years ago as a young teenager in his youth group. He learned techniques from books and taught them to his friends and campers in his massage and meditation class at summer camp. He has been doing massages for friends and family ever since.
His interest in Chinese medicine and philosophy led to his decision to choose Shiatsu as his primary modality at Centerpoint School and Clinic for Massage and Shiatsu in Minneapolis Minnesota, where he graduated in 2014. Being able to look at clients’ issues from an Eastern and Western perspective makes him an even more effective massage therapist.
He loves to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds including athletes, dancers, construction workers, elderly, and pregnancy massage and found that by incorporating techniques from Cranial Sacral, he can work at all pressure levels, from lightest touch to deepest pressure. He finds working with difficult conditions like MS and Fibromyalgia particularly rewarding.
Robert enjoys a wide range of hobbies and activities with his wife, four sons, and dog, from hiking, camping, and snowboarding, to reading, board games, and Dungeons & Dragons.
