Brittany Henderson, LMT

Brittany was drawn to massage therapy at a very early age. She always knew she wanted to help heal the world. Eventually her life led to massage therapy being the best fit for her and her soul. She loves doing massage, and is always eager to improve her technique by listening to the feedback of clients and peers. She feels this helps her to not only better herself as a massage therapist, but as a person who wants to heal as many as possible.  Brittany’s favorite type of massage to do is prenatal. She loves the opportunity to work on two people at once, and the relief she brings is so rewarding. She also performs hot stone massage, a technique in which she uses the stones as an extension of her own body to help relieve and access muscles normally more difficult to get to. Hot stone is a great technique for people who have deep muscle tension, and need deeper work than Swedish can provide but aren’t accustomed to a deep tissue massage. Deep tissue is another one of her specialties, and she typically has a firmer touch, but can go as gentle as needed. Her goal in life is to help those she connects with to attain balance and a general sense of wellness through natural means.In her free time she enjoys playing with her dogs, swimming in any body of water she can get to, camping, and riding her horse named Joy. She loves being outside, especially when surrounded by trees.
