Jonathan
Pierce, LMT
Growing up with a grandfather who was a massage therapist, Jonathan was always aware of the benefits that massage can provide. His grandfather's work often played a large part in working through his own injuries that he sustained during the years of training and teaching martial arts and acrobatics. After Jonathan left coaching martial arts, tumbling and gymnastics, he was still fascinated by the human body and knew massage therapy was the most natural path for him. He graduated from Everest College in Fife, Washington in 2010. He loves the capacity bodywork has to reconnect us with our bodies and to move our awareness in such a way that we may cultivate wellness. He tries to approach each session anew and give the body a chance to direct the work. With that said, he tends to work deep to facilitate lasting tissue release, while incorporating a light and flowing touch to allow the body to relax and integrate the bodywork. He enjoys creating space for the body to do what it wants to do – heal and restore.
When not working Jonathan can be found with his wonderful wife and children, hiking, doing art, playing music and soaking up all that the beautiful PNW has to offer.
