James Ho, LAc, DACM
James Ho has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine for over 11 years. He acquired his doctoral and master’s degree of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, from the American College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which located in Texas. He now specializes in nervous, digestive, and immune system disorders (which include tingling/numbness, tremors, Bell’s palsy, shingles, stroke sequela, GI track discomfort, psoriasis, lupus, and skin issues), as well as circulatory & emotion related issues (such as hypertension regulating, palpitation, edema, swelling, varicose vein, anxiety, depression, insomnia, and chronic fatigue).
James became drawn to holistic medicine because of its effectiveness in treating the whole person with a non-invasive approach. He finds great value in treating the root cause of illness, and not merely the symptoms. Such depth of treatment prevents recurrence of disease and discourages new illness from occurring.
In addition, James has a nurturing and accepting approach, and is always meeting people where they are at. He enjoys learning about the diverse experiences from everyone he meets and likes to share with them the joy of living and healing naturally. In his spare time, he is with his family, hitting the trail, playing his instruments, gardening, and keeping his shiny, hyperactive Aussie Shepherd- Jordy busy.
